This item is a give-away that a co-worker grabbed for me at a conference she recently attended. Don't worry, I warned her that it may become part of my blog, so she won't be offended.
The second item was a gift. It's very pretty, and I believe you can use it to make tea in (though I haven't figured out exactly how it works). The problem is I rarely drink tea, so it has become more of a decorative object in my kitchen/dining area. It has actually been a bit of a struggle to let it go, but this is one of the most cluttered and most used areas of my home, so I have to say farewell.
The final object was tucked away in a drawer in my dining room. That was my first clue that I probably no longer need it. I think it was last used as an ashtray for some outdoor smoking guests a couple years ago. I don't foresee a lot of smoking going on at my house in the near or distant future, so there is no need to hold onto it.
