Yep! I have a 5 of these totally (along with several other different minifigs) that I'm eBaying off. It may not seem like much, but the box of them has been sitting in my room for 3 years now, waiting for me to finally get around to do this.

Part of a partial series that I had (I had disc 1,2,3,4 and 6) that it became cheaper to get the collector's series (all 8 disc) than to buy the remaining 2 I was missing.

So far I've managed to sell a few of them on eBay, this is disc 2 now joins that list.

I picked up this anime series back in 2005 and burned through it in a weekend and loved it until the end.

The end was so flatly disappointing that I actually felt bad. Not in an "art is suppose to invoke emotion" way, but a "I feel horrible for watching this" kind of way.

There's probably some deep cultural thing at play here, I don't know. Anyway, I never planned to watch it again, so officially getting rid of it.

Volume 6 of Samurai Champloo sold on Ebay yesterday!

Interestingly I ended up with doubles of Vol 1-4 and 6 and have been trying to Ebay them off and on for a month. This one finally sold ... I think I'll get a nickel for it.

One box of Lego Bionicle on its way to Colorado!

I'm not a complete Lego junkie, I've not really gotten into the Bioicle line of toys they offer. I acquired them as part of a Lego collection I was given about a year ago and preceeded to pick out these parts because I just don't like them. This is about 2 and half pound of assorted parts that I will probably never use.

Hopefully the nice lady in CO the scored them off me on eBay will have better use for them than holding down my closet shelves.

(Okay, it's not a picture that I took, but by the time I remembered to grab a pic, I'd already sealed the box.)

"The Icarus Hunt" was a decent book, I'd give it about 5 of 10. I knew the author from his work on the Expanded Star Wars Universe (or what every Disney is calling it these days) but I think my joy from those works stemmed from my love of Star Wars more so than Tim.

The real reason that this book was so hard to part with was that it was gift. I've struggled with this over and over: holding on to items not because I like them or they bring me joy, but because they were given to me. Even if I know the gift-er does even remember doing so (such as in this case).

So, this book goes to AZ where someone who hopefully enjoy's Tim Zahn's work for its own merit will have it and I talk another step to being able to let go of stuff I really don't need.
