A bit of a random assortment of items here. Most of them were pulled from the attic or the deep, dark depths of a closet, so they obviously aren't that important to me.
Projectrama (formally "Project Insanity") is a yearly activity to pick one long or difficult project to work on throughout the year. This blog focuses on the efforts of a group that are all working on the same project for 2015: de-cluttering by getting rid of one item a day. Anyone that wishes to join can message the admin to post on your item of day!

September 14th-23rd
I'm saying goodbye to two more pairs of holiday socks (Valentine's Day this time), and a pair of socks with a crab on them.
These are my recycled New Year's Eve decorations from years passed when Robert and I used to host New Year's Eve parties at our house. I don't see that happening again until Dax gets a bit older, and by then I figure I'll be willing to fork over some more money to the Party Store.
Finally, an assortment of DVDs that I'm fairly certain I'll never watch again. So long as I live in an age of Netflix, I cannot imagine how I'll ever have the time to watch all the things that peak my interest. Therefore, I certainly don't have time to go back and re-watch anything. Plus, it is now far too much effort to have to insert a disc into my DVD player. It actually requires me to get off the couch vs. just letting the remote do all the work.

September 4th-13th
This is one of two sets of 5 lbs weights that I have. Since, I don't work out with either set at this point, and I'm not using them as a door stop, I don't think I will miss them.
I know this seems like the wrong season to be getting rid of Halloween decorations, but I know myself well enough to realize that I would not have dug them out of the attic to decorate my house for one day. I have sometimes wished that I was one of those people whose house looked super cute for every holiday, but I just don't have the motivation to do it. Plus, at this point, with an increasingly mobile one-year-old, it makes no sense to place more breakables in his path.
I think I've soaked up all the information I can from these pregnancy/new baby books. Even if there is something I missed, it is a bit late now.
I honestly enjoyed viewing "Wicked" more than I enjoyed reading the book, so it's not on my re-read list. As for Suze, all I can say is that I definitely have the "courage" to be rich. In fact, I am downright fearless when it comes to my certainty that I would be great at being rich. My problem is that I'm lacking the money to be rich.

August 30th-September 3rd
Preparing for Dax's birthday festivities have kept me pretty busy lately, so I haven't had much time to hunt for items or to post. Nevertheless, here are a few more assorted give-aways:
The first two are cords that go with my former i-pod. Since the i-pod is long gone, there is no need to hang on to these.
Next, I have a candle which I rarely, if ever, burn. Now that I have an on-the-move one-year-old, burning candles just doesn't seem like a good idea.
The third item is the headband I wore for the Turkey Trot last year.
Finally, I am getting rid of this linen blazer. It's cute, but it's not something I would typically wear, plus the sleeves are too long on me.
